		Super Bowl XXXIX, Jacksonville Super Bowl XXXIX garnered the attention of millions, all focused on Jacksonville, Florida. In order to prepare the city for this monumental event, Davey's large tree moving experts were hired to enhance the area's natural beauty. The Davey team placed and cared for nearly 200 live oak and magnolia trees. The trees, in their 100-gallon containers, created a lined boulevard setting near the main cruise ship docks. Following the game, Davey experts then transplanted the trees, delivering them to their new home in two city parks. In addition to the containerized trees, Davey successfully planted another several hundred oak and holly trees on city property in a nearby neighborhood. The Davey team took pride in knowing that while the trees were brought in for the "big game", they will enhance the city's landscape for countless years to come.
