Steve Clawson is no stranger to hard work. Born on a dairy farm, he learned to value the importance of working hard and doing it safely.
An account manager with Davey Utility, Clawson is proud of his safety record and values safety over all else. By working on a variety of jobs and locations in the field, he has learned a tremendous amount about safety - both good practices and unsafe ones that he has observed and corrected.
“Everything starts with safety,” he says. “If you take care of that, production and everything else successfully falls in line.”
Clawson also believes Davey provides great opportunities to meet people, travel and advance in one’s career. It also provides the best benefits in the industry through employee ownership and 401K options, he says.
