Davey Resource Group Project Developer Jenny Gulick spoke at the national conference of the Arbor Day Foundation in Baltimore in November. Her program was entitled, “Don’t Go it Alone – Increasing Urban Forestry Program Resources through Partnerships.”

Davey expert and urban forester Herb Landmann participated in a demonstration to an audience of representatives of National Park sites and urban parks departments. The NAOP was formed to protect historic landscapes and to build a network of members and member originations to work on behalf of local parks and landscapes.
Landmann conducted an air spade demonstration on the National Mall and Scott Margroum, from Davey's Washington, D.C. residential/commercial office, participated in a demonstration on the techniques for administering preventative treatment for Dutch elm disease.
