Blaine Boccignone compares his job to riding a unicycle with one foot while juggling. But he doesn’t consider his position as next to impossible.
He can actually accomplish the rare feat and considers his job as San Jose district manager just as much fun and challenging because of the variation of his duties.
"There aren’t many typical days," Boccignone says. "That's why I like my job so much. I meet with crewmembers and work with sales representatives, our assistant district manager, office coordinator, and office assistant in an effort to serve our customers. I also visit customers, estimate work, and make sure crews understand the job assignment."
Boccignone joined Davey in 1995 as a sales representative. He says he was drawn to opportunities to grow with the company and remains motivated by the company’s commitment to build on its best.
