Ever since Marlon Giron started working for Davey Tree, he’s wanted to move up the ranks. And he’s done just that.

Giron, a supervisor on the Tampa Electric account for Utility Services, joined Davey in 1994 after the company he worked for since graduating high school lost a contract. He first worked for Davey on a six-man bucket crew as a foreman.

"From the start, I wanted to move up the ladder with Davey," says the Guatemala native. "I started not knowing much, but I’ve learned valuable information and skills and have advanced. I’m an example that shows how hard work gets you ahead."

The self-described team player says he enjoys being a leader and sharing his knowledge with his crews.
