- Effective work planning.
TreeKeeper® helps urban foresters plan work. Users can build work orders or
create forms for contractor bids.
- Knowledge is power.
TreeKeeper presents the urban forester with numerous advantages and
allows for the gathering of a variety of information, including tree conditions
and costs associated with hazard reduction pruning. With TreeKeeper 7.7,
this information is easily accessible.
- Better customer service.
When taking a customer call, the service representative can easily
view a report and description for that property and immediately issue
a service request.
- It’s good for the trees.
TreeKeeper 7.7 allows the urban forester to set up a seven-year trim cycle,
ensuring all trees are regularly cared for. This creates potential cost savings
and supports a healthy urban forest.
- Be proactive, not reactive.
Take care of problems before they happen. With TreeKeeper 7.7, you can
quickly locate trees growing under utility lines and determine appropriate
action before it’s too late.
- Effective budgeting.
Demonstrate to councils and management the importance of increasing the
urban forestry budget. For example, use the Tree Valuation Report, which is
based on the 9th edition of the ISA Guide for Plant Appraisal, to calculate
the worth of the urban forest.
- Access data in the field.
TreeKeeper’s synchronization software can be used in the field, eliminating
the need to learn additional software.
- Integrated mapping.
TreeKeeper 7.7 has the ability to load basemaps from your current GIS
directly into a convenient map window within the TK7 system. All users
will have access to these maps with no need to install specific software.
- Multiple user access.
A TK7 subscription or network customer can have multiple users
access the database at the same time. This allows the data entry
workload to be balanced among the group.
- Flexibility.
Not only can TreeKeeper track trees, it can include data for many other
infrastructures, such as street signs, fire hydrants, and utility poles.
Davey Resource Group can convert older databases, including but not limited
to TK5, TK jr., TK6, Tree Manager® for DOS/Windows, Canopy® for DOS, and
Green Resource Manager, directly into TK7. Due to TK7’s Internet foundation,
it will be around for years to come.
