Davey is the only tree and lawn care company that is a member of the Continental Dialogue on Non-Native Forest Insects and Diseases.

This group collaborates actions and ideas from diverse interests to abate the threat to forests from non-native insects and diseases, which have already made profound impacts. Additionally, the rates of introduction and establishment of new invaders have recently increased.

Davey scientists have contributed to a dialogue policy statement to amend Q-37, a federal quarantine that regulates the imports of nursery plants, roots, bulbs and seeds. This is designed to help curb the potential devastation invasive species can bring to trees throughout North America.
