Streetlight Audits

Streetlights can generate income for utilities. Maintaining data and records of the streetlights can cause headaches for utility personnel. DRG will inventory and map streetlights for a variety of purposes, including an upgrade of a geographic information system (GIS), update of information required for billing purposes, and identification of maintenance and restoration needs.

Data routinely collected includes pole location, light type, fixture type, and wattage. We can gather additional data attributes, as specified by the client, and often put pole number tags on streetlight poles.

Data collection techniques make use of the most up-to-date and appropriate technologies, including GIS maps on pen-based computers and Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment.
