Davey Resource Group is proud to support and partner with the International Society of Arboriculture in their efforts to advance the art and science of arboriculture. In 2008, Davey Resource Group was awarded a contract by the ISA's Educational Goods and Services Committee to develop PowerPoint programs on six important arboricultural topics:

• Why Hire An Arborist
• Caring For Your Tree
• Why Topping Hurts Trees
• Selecting A Tree
• Avoiding Tree-Utility Conflicts

The goal of this project is to create scientifically accurate and engaging educational programs on each topic that ISA members and certification credential holders can access from the internet, download easily, and then use for educational programs for a wide variety of audiences in their communities. The PowerPoint® files that DRG created in ISA's online library may be downloaded for free to your computer and edited as required to meet your specific needs. They can be accessed by clicking here. For more than a century, a hallmark of Davey has been effectively communicating research findings and technical innovations in tree care to our professionals and the public we serve through a variety of customized educational programs. For this project, the ISA depended on Davey's expertise and creativity to translate technical information and topical information into presentations and written materials that are appropriate for and tailored to the needs of their intended audience and other partners.
