Autumn Flame is the first of the red maple cultivars to color in the fall. The round-headed tree matures at about 50 feet with its small leaves turning from green to brilliant red in the autumn.

Leaf: 2-4 inches; opposite/subopposite green leaves; red and yellow in autumn.
