“In 2010, while a member of the management team at 750 E Pratt St., Baltimore, I was introduced to Davey Grounds Management. At the time, we were trying to earn a LEED certification of gold and after hearing Davey speak about going green, the decision was made to switch landscape providers and add Davey to our team. By changing our approach to snow and ice management as well as strategic changes in the landscape material selection and maintenance, we were successful in earning the gold certification and were selected as Building of the Year by BOMA.

In addition to my responsibilities at 750 E Pratt, I manage a portfolio of 10 buildings for 2 different owners in Baltimore county. In the fall of 2010, I awarded the landscape and snow management of my portfolio to Davey even though they were not the lowest bid I received due to their success. Throughout the season, Davey was outstanding at communicating and worked with me to provide my owners proactive solutions that improved our curb appeal and leasing traffic. At the end of the season, I consolidated the site improvements Davey offered me, and I actually saved money over the entire year.”
