2009 International Tree Climbing Championship presented by Davey

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Fifty-two climbers representing 15 countries around the globe recently gathered here for the 2009 International Tree Climbing Championship, presented by Davey.

Jared Abrojena of the ISA Western Chapter is the men's champion, and Anja Erni of Switzerland won the women's title. Additional results can be viewed by visiting the International Society of Arboriculture website.

For the first time in the history of the competition, a climber from Japan participated in the event.

The presenting sponsor, Davey was proud to provide photo and video coverage of the competition.
