Michael Bova serves as a consulting arborist for municipalities
and private entities throughout the Western United States. In
addition, he assists project managers on a variety of projects,
including tree inventories and risk assessments, and works directly
with clients to ensure complete satisfaction. Recent projects have
included tree inventories and tree health surveys for Rolling Hills
and Santa Ana Country Clubs in California, as well as a tree
maintenance cost analysis for the City of Portland, Oregon.
Critical tree risk assessment projects have included the City of
Riverside's Shamel ash population in Southern California and the
City of Austin's historic Zilker Park pecan trees in Central Texas.
Prior to joining the Resource Group, he was the assistant district
manager with The Davey Tree Expert Company's Residential and
Commercial Division in San Francisco. He is a member of the Western
Chapter ISA and a Certified Arborist (WE3372A). He received his
master's degree in agriculture from California State Polytechnic
University, San Luis Obispo, in 2004.
