Davey Resource Group

Jason J. Popik, B.S., is a Geographic Information Systems Technician with 3 years of experience applying GIS technology to environmental analysis. He is responsible for the setup, support, and training of Davey’s custom Asset Manager Software.  He joined Davey Resource Group in 2008.

His routine work involves data acquisition, manipulation, interpretation, and conversion for natural and utility projects. Jason is also responsible for creating final cartographic products through use of advanced GIS software. In addition, Mr. Popik has experience and knowledge in the fields of conservation, climatology, and remote sensing.  Jason is also currently an instructor for the Geographic and Land Information Systems at the University of Akron’s Summit College.
