Ms. Sheeler is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst and
Cartographer with 14 years of experience applying GIS technology to
environmental analysis. She currently supervises GIS operations at
Davey and has been with the company for more than 11 years. Her
work involves data acquisition, spatial analysis and
interpretation, database and project management, and the creation
and design of cartographic products through use of advanced GIS
software. In addition, she has experience and knowledge in the
field of natural hazards research, aerial photography
interpretation, remote sensing, and custom programming in Visual
Basic and various GIS software, as well as numerous years of
experience in the utilization, maintenance, and support of
pen-computer hardware and global positioning systems (GPS). She
holds a Master of Arts degree in Geography from Kent State
University and a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from
Central Missouri State University with a minor in earth
science.
