Adam Sandler is an urban forester and project manager with Davey
Resource Group. Mr. Sandler conducts computerized tree inventory
projects for municipalities, parks, and open spaces. He has
performed public tree inventories for several entities, including
Charlotte, North Carolina; Saline, Michigan; Town & Country,
Wildwood, and Creve Coeur, Missouri; and Noblesville, Indiana. From
this project experience, he has gained extensive knowledge of
GIS-based data collection units and GPS technology, tree
identification, and tree risk assessment. Mr. Sandler also worked
on the Asian Longhorned Beetle Cooperative Eradication Program in
New York City. In this position, he acted as a technical support
specialist responsible for quality control and documentation to
ensure compliance with USDA, New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), and Davey procedures. Prior to
joining Davey Resource Group, Mr. Sandler worked for a large tree
care company operating out of New York working in a residential
capacity. Mr. Sandler fulfilled roles as a Climbing Arborist, Plant
Health Care Technician, and underwent Sales Arborist training. He
is a Certified Arborist (NY5374-A) with the International Society
of Arboriculture, and holds a New York state pesticide applicators
license. Mr. Sandler was schooled in his native country of England,
and possesses multiple Bachelor's degrees in computer science and
arboriculture and forestry.
