Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company is pleased to welcome Bob Meoak as he transfers to the position of district manager for Davey’s Cincinnati, Ohio, residential/commercial office.
A 22-year Davey employee, Meoak left Cincinnati in 2000 to establish an office for Davey Tree in a new market for the company: Nashville, Tennessee. During his tenure in Tennessee, Meoak grew the start-up office into Nashville’s largest tree service company. While there, Meoak was heavily involved in the community and the industry, acting as the local chairman of the International Society of Arboriculture International Conference in 2005.
As a graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (D.I.T.S), Meoak received the Golden Oak award, which is given to the student with the highest academic performance in the class. D.I.T.S. is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. Meoak is also an International Society of Arboriculture board-certified master arborist, one of only 11 in the state of Ohio
“Bob’s career started in Cincinnati, so in returning he brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to the region on the heels of successfully launching our Nashville territory,” said Trey Webster, Davey operations manager of residential/commercial services. “We look forward to his return to the Queen City.”
