Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group (DRG) is proud to announce the promotion of Philip Hanna to area manager of DRG’s Massachusetts region. Davey Resource Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Davey Tree Expert Company.
Hanna began his career with DRG in 2011. He has been involved with Asian Longhorned Beetle programs since his start with DRG, while also managing several projects analyzing tree condition and risk along utility rights-of-way.
“Philip is a hard worker and always puts our clients first,” said Ken Joehlin, vice president and general manager, environmental consulting and business development for Davey Resource Group. “I know he will carry that work ethic into the challenge of this new position, and I look forward to seeing the new opportunities he brings to the table.”
Hanna holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental and conservation biology and a master’s degree in forest ecology from Clark University. He is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist® and a 2015 graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences, the company’s flagship training program.
