(Kent, OH) – As part of The Davey Tree Expert Company’s continued effort to recognize effective leadership, and in keeping with the company’s vision for growth, four employees within the utility service line have been promoted.
Doug Bour is operations manager of the Mid-Atlantic utility region. Bour has been with Davey for 15 years and has progressed through positions of increasing responsibility. In 2008, he was promoted to regional manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region, his most recent position.
Mark Calko is operations manager for the Northeast Area. Calko started with Davey in 2003 and has 28 years of experience within the green industry. He previously held positions with Wolf Tree, Davey Resource Group and Davey Utility.
Steve Clawson is the area manager for the Duke utility account. Clawson started with the company in 1985 as a groundsman and has held successive positions with his most recent being senior account manager over several accounts. Clawson was recognized at Davey’s most recent National Managers’ Meeting with the Davey Safety Award.
John Tokarczyk is the area manager for the Detroit Edison Account. Tokarczyk has 18 years of experience in the green industry and has been with Davey for the past eight. He started with the company as a crew member and has since held positions as work planner, general foreman, production manager, and account manager.
