Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has announced the promotion of Adam Passo to district manager of the Milwaukee Residential/Commercial office.
Passo started with Davey in 2005 as a trimmer trainee in the Northwest Chicago R/C office. He transferred to the Milwaukee office in 2006 and held a variety of positions before being promoted to sales arborist in 2011. In 2016, he was promoted to assistant district manager.
“Adam is committed to the Davey ideal of providing an excellent client experience,” said Geoff Cowan, operations manager. “His varied field experience, with clients ranging from homeowners to municipalities and universities, will serve him well in this new role in addition to aiding his development of younger Davey employees.”
Passo is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist® and a 2008 graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (D.I.T.S.), which is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. He has an associate’s degree in urban forestry from Mid-State Technical College, is a graduate of Davey’s Advanced Arborist Training and is a certified commercial pesticide applicator.
